Gentle Administrators,

We wanted to let you know about a couple of changes we are rolling out to Milan on January 8th. The first is a name change to the Targeted Case Management services. For a long time, it has confused many to figure out why the words ‘Bachelors’ and ‘Masters’ were present, when technically that did nothing to specify that Level 2 or Level 3 Case Managers were to bill those. The reason we had them named that way is because the state did on their Rates and Codes spreadsheet for agencies – until now. The new names will be formatted thusly:

Examples:
Targeted Case Management 1 MH (Child)
Targeted Case Management 2 MH (Child)
Targeted Case Management 3 MH (Child SUP)
Targeted Case Management 3 MH (Child)

We hope that will be clearer for everyone moving forward. The second change we’ve made is a new column in the Claim Item Detail report – Member ID. This way, when you run your billing report queries, they are as helpful as possible, especially when trying to search for MCO claims on Availity. You no longer have to use the report, and then go get the Member ID from someplace else.
