We've rolled out the eligibility updates overnight. Managed Care Payor eligibility will work differently than Medicaid eligibility. Milan will not autoload any of the new MCE payors into the system. The MCE payors will need to be added to all patients manually. However, Milan will crosscheck the patient's eligibility once entered in the system. If you've entered the wrong MCE payor for a patient, then Milan will crosscheck and change it to ineligible. Milan will not automatically switch it to the correct payor. This will need to be fixed by the agency.

**Note** Please use the original Medicaid ID's on the patient tab only. Do not enter the MCE ID that is different than the Medicaid number in the payor id field. OHCA will only verify eligibility with the original Medicaid ID. Patients will go ineligible if you enter an ID other than the original Medicaid number.

As of right now CDCs are failing with the reason
"Failed Connection! Upload abort!"

DMH made some updates in their system yesterday evening that could be causing CDCs to fail. The best thing to do is to resubmit at a later time. You will highlight the CDCUW and click on submit. It may be best to wait until later tonight or tomorrow.

This is a reminder that licensed behavioral health provider contracts are set to expire Feb. 28, 2024. Contracts that have not had a renewal completed by Feb. 29, 2024, will be unable to submit claims until their renewal has been submitted and approved. OHCA will be unable to prioritize renewals for any provider submitted after Feb. 28, 2024, and all renewals will be processed based on the date received. Failure to complete a renewal will result in the provider being required to submit a new application to become credentialed with SoonerCare.

Userwaits:
You could see an increased amount of Userwaits in Milan due to the OHCA contract renewal delays. This would effect services dated 2/29/24 & after. You can rebill the therapist's denied claims once you verify that their contract has been renewed by OHCA.

The issue has now been resolved. You may need to close out of Milan completely then sign back in.

We will continue to bill Medicaid as it transitions into SoonerSelect through Milan. We've been attending a regular meeting with DMH about the process. Unfortunately, the information they have provided to all vendors is very limited.

What we know so far is that all SoonerSelect claims will need to be billed through Availity. Milan supports Availity billing.

We will post more information as we get more information from DMH.
